Kokoko Camp : Kokoko camp is a mid – range accommodation owned and operated by Asilia camps and lodges that run different properties across Tanzania and Kenya found at the edge of the forest surrounded by rain, fig, sausage and jackelberry trees overlooking Mwagusi river in the Ruaha national park Tanzania region. The best way to travel to Ruaha national park from ARUSHA CITY is a flight that takes 5-6 hours to the close Msembe airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the lodge. It’s very far by road taking about 941 km. The lodge is convenient and business friendly to travellers, tourists. Holiday makers who want to explore the park with its beautiful views over the savannah plains.
Kokoko camp contains ONLY 3 spacious and comfortable TENTS overlooking the vast savannah plains built in African Traditional style each with its design and with high levels of comfort. Tents are well elevated , decorated with timber and furnished with tranquility and en suite private facilities of flushing toilet , hot and cold showers, mosquito nets , wooden chairs and tables , free bottled water in the rooms , free toiletries, hand wash basin, 24 hour electricity to mention but few . Tents have large Veranda out of the front, with sitting areas that give a stunning view of the wilderness and surrounding areas. Tents are well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized beds and perfect to suit your needs. There is a fire place pit with comfortable seats where guests relax especially after a safari as they share stories ,it also provides warmth during chill weather .The camp offers singles bed for individuals, doubles beds for couples / twins for sharing and family rooming options ranging from 300$ per night and above. The room rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

A restaurant with the view of the park serving different cuisines both international and African- inspired meals that meets guests choice. Meals offered include Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff, you can have meals in any place of your choice either veranda overlooking the river or in the dining areas. Bush breakfast is also offered while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky.

Ruaha national park is the second largest national park in Tanzania after Nyerere national park found in the south of the central mid- point of Tanzania and west of Iringa Town .
