Day 01 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday: Arusha – Tanzania
The Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Beach Trip starts in Tanzania, where you are picked from the Kilimanjaro International Airport by our well trained Explore Tanzania Tours Guide and transferred to your 5 Star lodge in Arusha. This growing city lies near the foot of Mount Meru, serving as the travel hub for safaris to Tanzania’s famous Northern Safari Circuit.
.Day 02 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday: Arusha to Lake Manyara – Tanzania
On the second day, we travel from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, taking an afternoon game drive and stopping for a picnic lunch along the way.
This incredibly scenic national park is noted for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons and flamingo flocks. Keep an eye out for buffalos, elephants, zebras, wildebeest and giraffe as well as antelopes such as bushbuck. Lake Manyara also hosts an abundance of birds, including numerous water birds.
In the late afternoon, we arrive at the 5 Star tented lodge for our overnight stay at Lake Manyara.
Day 03 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday: Serengeti National Park – Tanzania
After breakfast, we continue by road from Lake Manyara to the expansive Serengeti National Game Park via Olduvai Gorge.
We stop to visit the Olduvai Museum and Gorge, the archaeological site where fossils of our earliest human ancestors and their tools have been unearthed. There is also the option of visiting a Maasai village to encounter Kenya’s best-known ethnic group – the semi-nomadic Maasai.
Then we enjoy an en-route game drive to our 5 Star lodge or tented lodge at the world-renowned Serengeti National Park.
Day 04 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday: Serengeti National Park – Tanzania
The entire day is spent game viewing in the beautiful. Serengeti National Game Park on the fourth day of your Explore Tanzania Tours Safari and Zanzibar Beach Trip
The largest national park in Tanzania, Serengeti covers about 14 760 km² of open plains and wilderness. This unique wildlife reserve hosts an awe-inspiring abundance of large mammals including masses of herbivores such as wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, topi, buffalo, and hartebeest among others. The Serengeti Park is also famous for predator populations, especially big cats – lion, cheetah and leopard.
Your choice of hot lunch at the lodge or a picnic lunch will be served and the night is spent at a 5 Star Serengeti luxury or tented lodge.
Day 05 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater – Tanzania
In the morning we embark on a game drive in Serengeti National Park, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way.
Our game drive then takes us through the Malanja Depression, passing various Masai villages en route to the renowned Ngorongoro Conservation Area. (N.C.A) we arrive at our 5 Star Ngorongoro lodge in time for dinner and a relaxing evening recounting our adventures on the Serengeti Plains.
Day 06 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday: Ngorongoro Crater – Tanzania
After breakfast, we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a six-hour game drive in this exceptionally wildlife-rich game park. The world’s largest unfolded caldera, Ngorongoro hosts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Almost every large mammal species of Africa is commonly sighted on game drives in this crater, from black rhino to spotted hyena.
In the afternoon we visit one of the local Masai villages. We then proceed to Lake Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay at a 4 or 5 Star lodge or tented lodge in the area.
Day 07 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday: Lake Manyara to Arusha & Zanzibar Island
On day seven of the Explore Tanzania Tours and Zanzibar Beach Trip, we depart Lake Manyara for Arusha after breakfast, travelling via the Great Rift Valley and the rural village of Mto wa Mbu.
We arrive at the Arusha airport at about midday for our flight to Zanzibar, departing at 13:30. Arriving at Zanzibar International Airport at 15:30 you will be met by our guide and transferred to your beach resort on the east coast of Zanzibar.
You will have a choice of two 5 Star beach resorts on the east coast of Zanzibar Island.
Day 08 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday : East Coast of Zanzibar Island
The next few days are spent relaxing on the white sand beaches, swimming in the warm Indian Ocean and enjoying your luxury Zanzibar beach resort at leisure.
The islands of the Zanzibar’s Archeology are famous for their idyllic tropical beaches and are known as the Spice Islands, for the exotic spices grown here. Visit the spice plantations to smell, see and taste the brightly colored and aromatic spices, such as turmeric, ginger, black pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon.
You can take a boat ride to one of the smaller islands to relax and explore, or go scuba diving. Snorkelling and scuba diving are popular activities due to the rich marine life found in these clear waters. Again you have a choice of luxury 5 Star accommodation at one of two Zanzibar resorts.
Day 12 of 12 Days Tanzania Adventure Holiday: Beach Resort to Zanzibar Airport – Zanzibar Island
After breakfast on day 12, you can relax at the resort until it is time for you to transfer to the airport. You can store your luggage at the resort once you have checked out of your room at 10:30 and continue enjoying the resort facilities.
When it is time for your airport transfer our driver will picks you up at the reception and drives you to the Zanzibar International Airport, where your Explore Tanzania Tours Safari and Zanzibar Beach Trip comes to a close. Then you fly back home with unforgettable memories of amazing experiences you while on the trip.
