ASANJA RUAHA CAMP – RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Asanja Ruaha camp is a 4-star luxury accommodation found on the banks of Ruaha River in southern part of Ruaha national park (Tanzania’s second largest park) Tanzania Region. The camp is set amongst Miombo Pristine forest and the stunning baobab of Ruaha overlooking the magnificent views of Ruaha River. It’s a perfect place for relaxation and Tanzania safari adventure for tourists and travellers. You can be in Ruaha national park from ARUSHA CITY by flight that takes 5-6 hours to the close Msembe airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp . It’s very far by road taking about 941 km . The camp is owned and operated by Asanja Africa that run different and unique accommodations across Tanzania.
Asanja Ruaha camp consists of 8 spacious and comfortable en-suite tents Raised on deck stretching along river banks built in African Traditional style with natural materials and high levels of comfort. Each Tent is 140 square meter , well elevated , decorated with timber and furnished with tranquility and en suite private facilities of flushing toilet , hot and cold showers, mosquito nets , wooden chairs and tables , extinguishers, free bottled water in the rooms , free toiletries had wash basin , white curtains to mention but few .
Each Tent has its own large Veranda out of the front , with a large Interior sitting areas and private balconies that give a stunning view over the great Ruaha River and the park . Tents are well equipped with comfortable beds containing queen sized beds and wooden ceiling fans. There is a fire place pit with comfortable seats where guests relax especially after a safari as they share stories ,it also provides warmth during chill weather .tents are in different sizes with singles bed with individuals, doubles beds for couples / twins, and family rooming options with different costs ranging from 250$ per night and above. The rate keeps changing as they go high during peak season than in low season.

A restaurant in the main building with the view of the park serving different cuisines both international and African- inspired meals that meets guests choice. Meals offered include Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff, you can have meals in any place of your choice either veranda overlooking the great river or in the dining areas. Bush breakfast is also served while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky.
A-well stocked bar with variety of refreshment both alcoholic and nonalcoholic overlooking the spectacular view of the river, park, and surrounding area.

Ruaha national park is the second largest national park in Tanzania after Nyerere national park found in the south of the central mid- point of Tanzania and west of Iringa Town .
The park was established in 1964 and It covers the total area of 20,226 square kilometers (7,809 ) square miles The Park is most visited and has different categories of accommodations that include Budget, Mid- range/ moderate and Luxury/expensive accommodations that are convenient and affordable to any travellers, tourists visiting the park.
