You shall be picked up by our company driver guide for your Congo safari, from the airport or hotel in Kigali. You shall be welcomed for your Safari, and also briefed. You shall then proceed for a Kigali City Tour visiting the genocide memorial site, the presidential palace, main city market, among other destinations.
Thereafter, you shall proceed for a transfer to Virunga National Park through the Congo Rwanda border. After clearing with the immigration authorities, you shall proceed to the park, driving you to your lodge of stay. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Congo
Wake up to an early breakfast at the lodge on this second day of your Safari in Virunga National Park. Proceed to the starting point of gorilla trekking in Virunga National Park, be briefed about gorilla trekking and then placed in groups and allocated a family group to trek. Embark on the search of the gorillas in their natural habitat, and spend up to 1 hour with them. Return to the starting point, and find your driver ready to transfer you back to the lodge. In the evening, you have an option of resting at the lodge, or take a walk, or even Senkwekwe Gorilla Orphanage. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
