Tarangire national park fees

Tarangire national park fees that crosses through the park and it is a primary source of water to the park’s ecosystem. Tarangire national park is famously known for large herds of elephants and the spectacular baobab trees, the park is also a home to a variety of wildlife species such as  zebrawildebeest, cape buffalo, waterbuckgiraffedik dikimpalaelandGrant’s gazellevervet monkeybanded mongoose, olive baboon,  lionleopardcheetahcaracalhoney badger, and African wild dog that is why it is visited by thousands of tourists per year.

Tarangire national park is managed and administered by Tanzania National Parks Authority (TANAPA), this body is tasked with regulating all the activities taking place in the park and drafting park fees charged in Tarangire national park. These fees are drafted for the period from 1st August 2020 – June 2021.

  1. FILMING FEES

These fees are applicable to each per person entering Tarangire national park for filming purposes, these fees cover entrance, camping and filming.

 Important points to note about Tarangire national park fees

  • Conservation and vehicle fees are for multiple entry
  • Tarangire national park fees are non-refundable once paid
  • Proof of identification is need at the entry gate of the park and it is mandatory to every traveler
  • All fees are VAT (18%) exclusive
  • Travelers/tourists who are expatriatres/residents and their dependants living in Tanzania must be in possesiopn of either of these documents that are residents permit class A,B or C, exemption certificate; temporary pass attached with Government receipt plus acknowledgement letter and Diplomatic passport or ID.
