Serengeti Mara River camp is a luxury accommodation operated and owned by Karibu camps &lodges that run best and ambient accommodation across Tanzania region in (Serengeti and Ngorongoro). The river camp is situated in Robanda surrounded by Acacia Tress and grassland close to Mara River where picturesque river crossing of the great Migration occurs from June to October that gives travellers, tourists a chance to see thousands of wildebeest crossings. One can be at the camp taking approximately 6-7 hours’ drive from Arusha town to Serengeti national park and 1-2 hours to fly from Arusha to the close kogatende airstrip then few minutes to be transferred to the camp.
Serengeti Mara River camp consists of 15 en suite comfortable and comfortable tents overlooking the incredible scenic Serengeti plains and wildlife migration. Tents are well decorated, elevated on raised platform and furnished with en-suite facilities of Clean flushing toilet, Bush showers with hot and cold water , sink safari bucket, 24/7 electricity energy available, mosquito nets, tables and chairs, free toiletries, free bottled water , pillows and white duvets, bathrobes, slippers and other facilities .
Tents have verandas and sitting area overlooking the spectacular view over the wildebeest migration, Serengeti plains and surrounding areas. Tents are equipped with excellent clean and washed beddings with queen sized beds. The camp has Cracking fireplaces pit where guests can relax and share stories and experience of the safari not only that it also provides warmth to the guests in the nights and during cold days. Tents have single beds for individuals, double bed for two people /couple and triple rooming option for a group or family with different costs ranging from 300$ and above per night and price always goes slightly higher in peak season.
