Mount Meru Game Lodge & sanctuary is considered to be the oldest and luxury accommodation in Northern Tanzania situated next to Golf course between Usa river and the sanctuary (the home of water buffaloes, birds and monkeys) .The lodge is situated 30 minutes away from Kilimanjaro International airports. The lodge is situated 18km East of Arusha town on the main Nairobi- Moshi road between Mt Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. The lodge is set on 33 acres of landscape surrounded by the beautiful gardens and tranquil waters of Usa River. . The lodge is convenient( perfect location for relaxation while from a safari because of its calmness ) , affordable and business friendly to guests visiting arusha and arusha national park with its beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru , colorful gardens and surrounding areas . You can reach the lodge by road transport from Arusha which takes about few minutes’ drive while from different international countries like canada, dubai ,USA, , mexico , Uganda, and many more and 20 minutes to fly to the close Kilimanjaro airport .
Mount Meru game lodge & sanctuary consist of 17 comfortable and spacious rooms of which 13 rooms are double, 2 singles and 1 inter-connecting family room and 1 large single family room that reflect the African building style with high levels of comfort. Rooms are well decorated and furnished with private en suite facilities of flushing toilets, hot and cold showers/Bathtubs , mosquito nets, hair driers and private balconies and sitting areas ,you relax while enjoying the spectacular view of mount Kilimanjaro , Mount Meru and surrounding area . Rooms are well equipped with Satellite, extinguishers and other facilities with comfortable clean and king sized bed and ceiling fans. There are campfires at the lodge where guest relax and share stories about the safari; it also provides warmth to visitors staying during chill whether. Rooms are in different sizes as mentioned above single bed for individuals, double room for couples and family room with different costs ranging from 300$ per night and above and in High season the rate is slightly high than in Low season.

A restaurant in the main Tent with the view of the savannah plain serving different cuisines both international and African- inspired meals that meets guest’s choice. Meals offered include; Continental breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner in the main building served by well trained, friendly and welcoming staff, you can have meals in any place of your choice either veranda overlooking mount kilimanjaro or in the dining areas. Bush breakfasts are also offered while enjoying morning sunrises and bush dinners while overlooking the stars in the sky and vast meru plains.
