Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and drive to Bwindi National Park
Your guide will welcome you and pick you up from the hotel in Entebbe. After a short briefing and introductions you will start your journey to Bwindi national park. You will have a stop at the equator and enjoy taking photos and seeing local arts and crafts. You will also have lunch in Mbarara town and after lunch you will continue your journey to Bwindi where you will check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you will be met by your guide and you will carry packed lunch and transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will be allocated a gorilla family to trek and a park guide who is knowledgeable about the mountain gorillas and also conversant with different gorilla trekking trails. Trekking of mountain gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable national park takes about 30 minutes to several hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food.
During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, different bird species, plants among others and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, grooming young ones, take photos and record videos.
After the one hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in at the lodge, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and afternoon Boat Cruise
Morning game drive
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to view different animals such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda kobs, variety of bird species, take beautiful pictures of the landscape, sunrise among others. Chance to see the famous tree climbing lions of Ishasha sector. After the game drive you will have lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise,
After lunch you will take an exciting boat ride on Kazinga channel, a water body that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. The scheduled boat cruise takes about 2 to 3 hours ride and gives you an opportunity take clear photos, cruise meters away from large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, other animals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes among others which will be drinking water along the banks and also enjoy seeing different bird species, view fisher men on the lake shores preparing their fishing gears. After the interesting boat ride you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.

You will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide and proceed to journey to Kampala arriving in the evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at your hotel of stay, which will bring the safari to an end.
