Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
You shall be picked up at the airport or hotel of stay by our driver guide for your 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari. You shall be briefed about the Safari, and ten transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Check in at the lodge, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park Experience
Early morning breakfast at the lodge and thereafter head out for one of the most thrilling tourist activities in Volcanoes National Park. You shall have a briefing at the park headquarters about the various rules and regulations of gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. You shall then be placed in groups of 8 and allocated a gorilla family to trek. The gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park can take about 2 to 5 hours or more depending on the location of the gorilla family allocated and the terrain. When you do encounter the mountain gorillas, you shall spend 1 hour with the gorillas. Thereafter, you shall trek back to the starting point of the gorilla trekking activity.
